Modern Slavery Policy

‘Modern Slavery’ is a crime that usually takes place behind closed doors which takes away the freedom of choice from men, women and children and instead uses forced, compulsory or trafficked practices.

We recognize that ‘Modern Slavery’ remains a grim reality for millions of people across the world today, but it has no place in our business.

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

We have also made sure that our suppliers are aware of our policies to ensure that they adhere to the same high standards. These policies have been developed by our Senior Management Team.

Our procedures are designed to:

  • reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chains; and
  • provide adequate protection for whistle blowers.

We ensure to:

  • Provide relevant training on Modern Slavery for all of our employees
  • Ensure supplier contract terms include adequate provisions for compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
